I struggle with buying clothes especially online, I wear anywhere between a size 16-22 and in my past experience ordering online clothing are NEVER the same sizes and I have had my share of trying to turn items to companies that have super inconvenient return policies so I am very hesitant to order online, I worked with eShakti.com last year and was really excited to team up with them again.
eShakti allows you to purchase apparel in standard sizes 0 to 36W but also allows you to enter custom measurements. They also allow free customization by allowing you to alter sleeves, length and more.
I was sent their Cowl Neck Melange Knit Trapeze Dress.
The dress is really adorable on the website and is a flowy, cowl-neck pullover with elbow length sleeves and an asymmetrical hem. It is made of cotton/polyester/spandex and while the standard comes with pockets and as shown in the picture above, you can customize it with 4 sleeve type and 2 length option as well as remove the pockets. You can order it in size XS-6X or input your own custom measurements for a more precise fit.
I decided to order it in their standard 2X-22 size and have it tailored to my height which is 5 foot 5.
While the dress is incredibly cute and comfortable I personally don’t think it’s very flattering on my body type, I think It makes me look incredibly boxy, while the style might not be the best for my body type I did find the dress to fit very well, I hope to try and dress it up with a belt or other accessories but by its self, I’m not really digging the style.
The dress, however, is INCREDIBLY warm and comfortable which makes it perfect for the cold Vermont winters. It was also supposed to be tailored to my height and I feel it was a little long for my height but overall the dress is very high quality, warm and I’m sure I can make it work with some accessories.
The dress in Charcol is currently out of stock but you can also purchase it in teal green for $62.95, I think their items are worth every single penny because the amount of care that goes into each garment and every garment I’ve received has been high quality.
