The holiday entertaining and gifting season are almost in full swing and I am so excited to announce we have teamed up with The Kansas City Steak Company for an awesome holiday gift guide post and a great giveaway! This is the first time I had the pleasure of trying them and I really had a great experience.
The Kansas City Steak Company has a great selection of steaks, pork, beef, turkey, lamb, chicken, and even seafood to choose from, they pride themselves on providing the public with high-quality meat and their dedication to steaks dates back to 1932 with a small, family owned butcher shop named S&S Meat Company.
They were kind enough to send along their KC Signature Gift Boxed Steak Combo for my family to try.
The KC Signature Gift Boxed Steak Combo consists of 4 (10oz) Boneless Ribeye Steaks, 4 (8oz) Super-Trimmed™ Filet Mignon and 4 (12oz) Kansas City Strip Steaks. The all arrived in black boxes and two of the boxes were crushed when they arrived, the steaks were frozen solid on arrival which was great because during the busy season packages can get delayed, they were also packaged well to ensure they arrived still frozen.
Each box also features a preparation guide and a pack of steak seasoning which was a great touch.
My family REALLY liked the strip steak and I even shared some of the steaks with my mom and she really liked them as well. They are super juicy, tender and honestly some of the best steaks I’ve ever had!
You can purchase the KC Signature Gift Boxed Steak Combo for $199.85 and I give it a 5-star rating because the quality was great and the presentation is perfect for gifting.

On the grill season with salt pepper and a touch of garlic powder
Steak is always cooked on the grill by my husband. I may be biased, but his steaks are THE BEST!
I love to grill the the most.
Love their super trimmed filets we buy them all the time.
On the grill!
I do it pan fried.
We like to rub our steaks with salt and let them sit a half hour before cooking. Then we melt butter in the pan, and sear both sides. After searing we will turn the heat down to medium and baste the steaks with butter for a minute (longer if you like them more done). Pull the meat off the heat and let them rest for 10 minutes and the steak is unbelievably juicy!
I love to grill steaks in my grill pan
Medium rare
I love bbqing a steak but with charcoal not gas , we bbq all yr round even in a blizzard lol
I usually pan fry it in a cast iron skillet. My main preference is chicken fried, either as patties or fingers, but when I am not doing that, I go cast iron.
I like to marinate and then cook on the grill

We like our steaks cooked on the grill or broiled under the oven broiler!
