I prepared Meal 1 first and I was very impressed with the Sautéed Shrimp Sandwiches with a Saffron Aioli & Celery-Parmesan Salad! It was super flavorful and super easy to cook. Everything I received was super fresh and this has to be my favorite meal out of the box!

Moving onto Meal 2,

The Cumin-Sichuan Beef & Noodles with Sweet Peppers, Cabbage and Garlic Chives was another dish that was very easy to cook and it was a type of cuisine I don’t normally cook so it was SUPER fun! There were some dark and slimy parts on the cabbage but I just cut them off.

Moving onto the Last Dish

DSCF3114

The Southern Style Chicken Cacciatore with Creamy Grits and Basil looked great but was a disaster! The chicken I received was super fatty and after cooking it like instructed to it was super chewy and almost inedible. I cook chicken often and never had this issue. Other then the issue with the chicken this dish was tasty and I was just disappointed at the quality of the chicken.

Final Thoughts:

Overall I was very impressed with the first two dishes. They were super tasty and very easy to cook, the chicken in the last dish was a huge disappointed because it was such an important part of the dish.
