I recently came across bTizzy and fell in LOVE with their mission! If you have been a regular reader you will know I am currently disabled with sever anxiety as well as chronic pain and fatigue, my disabilities have greatly impacted my daily life and It often upset me until I came across bTizzy. BTizzy is ALL about empowering folks with disabilities! They website lists tons of vendors and services offered by folks with a huge range of disabilities. bTizzy is really dedicated to breaking down the stigma of disability and showing the world just because you are disabled doesn’t mean you cant do things! Their website is also a great resource for folks with disabilities. bTizzy also hosts K-TIZ RADIO which has 4 great shows. pwdHUMAN delivers an in-depth look at the personal and professional lives of People with Disabilities. pwdFOCUS get up-close and personal with key players. Never shying away from controversy, pwdNOISE breaks down the discord and debate in the disability community. Finally, pwdTECH downloads the latest and greatest intel from the digisphere. Tune in. They recently sent me some items to check out and one item to giveaway!
The items I received are soap, a notebook(for giveaway) and a flask.
The soap I received is from artist Laura. In 2009 while serving in the U.S Army, Laura experienced a back injury. She discovered her hobby of soap making after having an artificial disc surgically placed in her back. With a career in the medical field, Laura applied that knowledge into the making of these soaps. They do not include chemicals found in other organic soap products, and the soaps are made from scratch.
Her soap really is beautiful!
The flask was made by Richard, who has been living with epilepsy for over 30 years. He specializes in pet portraits and illustrations of Civil War scenes. My husband really loved this flask!
The book I received to giveaway is made by Shannon who is a self taught artist who creates handmade products from recycled items. Shannon has Fibromyalgia, Arthritis and Chronic Pain.
