Cakes Under The Influence Review

Stephs Cheers and Jeers was provided the samples mentioned in this post in return for an unbiased review.

Sometimes spicing stuff up with alcohol is a great little kick, I have cooked with alcohol before(mainly meat paired with alcohol) but I have never really baked  with alcohol before.

Cakes Under The Influence  is fun and adorable way to incorporate alcohol into numerous baked goods. They have a variety of baking kits such as Martini, Champagne Flutes and more.

They sent me along their two under the influence kit to review!
This kit is PERFECT for a date night in!
It includes
Two cake mixes(chocolate and vanilla)
Two molds(choice between Martini, Margarita and Champagne Flute)
 Two matching stemware serving dishes
Twenty four baking papers
Two oven safe and food grade silicone cupcake stands
The mix is very easy to make, just open, pour in a bowl and mix in 3 ounces of your favorite cocktail then blend for 3-4 minutes!
I chose to use Adult Smores with an Adult Smore glaze!
Glaze:
4 teaspoons butter, melted
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons Adult S’mores
I also added red food coloring to add a pink color
The cake come out AMAZING! The kit was easy to use and we had a wonderful time taste testing the cakes, they were so moist but didn’t have an overpowering alcohol taste. I thought the molds and the stands were just ADORABLE! The cake mix was high quality tasting and I will be purchasing from them in the future!
I think this is just an adorable idea for a bachelorette party and thats what I plan to purchase from them for.
This kit sells for $24.99 on their website and they offer tons of more options and even have a recipe section on their website for ideas.
What cocktail would you use?
