We live in a 264-year-old home, it’s dusty so the air quality isn’t the best. We also just did major lead paint renovations. Due to this, I knew I wanted to invest in an air purifier but I wanted a top-notch one.
Medify Air is very transparent about its air purifiers and the fact that they are “True Hepa”. That means that their products meet the DOE standard for HEPA filtration. What sets Medify Air apart from many other air purifier brands is they use H13 True Hepa filters which trap 99.9% of particles down to 0.1 microns.

The MA-40 features a tempered glass top with a child lock, timer, on/off, fan speed, sleep mode, and UV light settings. It also features a filter indicator to let you know when it’s time to replace it.
The Medify Air H13 and H14 filters last around 3,000 hours or about 6 months. You can purchase the filters separately or subscribe to their Filter Club and save.

I am very impressed with the MA-40. It was incredibly easy to set up and I LOVE the child lock. I have owned other air purifiers but the fact that this one comes with a child lock is really the selling point for me. I love the tempered glass top and this air purifier just looks nice compared to others I have owned.
I am glad I was finally able to find a “True Hepa” air purifier. Many I have looked at are not compatible with H13 and up filters.
