PlanToys USA is a wonderful way to celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd. They are so much more than a toy company. Their wooden toys are designed according to children’s developmental stages and needs while promoting sustainability and quality. They offer toys for all stages, from newborn to 3 years and up.
My husband is a drummer and our son loves music so I was excited to see they offer several drums. I decide to choose the Double Drum for my toddler.
The Double Drum features two differently-sized drums and a pair of drumsticks. The drumheads are made from fabric coated with natural rubber and this is one of my son’s favorite new toys.
This drum is sustainability made in Thailand using chemical-free rubberwood, formaldehyde-free glue, organic pigments, and water-based dyes.

My son loves this drum so much! He loves using both the drumsticks and his hands. PlanToys USA has an entire line of musical toys and I plan to get more for my son.
Sustainability:
I think it’s wonderful that PlanToys USA is so dedicated to sustainability. They use leftover sawdust to create a new material called PlanWood and source rubber from reclaimed trees from Thailand’s rubber and latex industry. They have an article on their website about the entire process and it’s fascinating!
