Many of my readers might not know but I am Greek!(as well as British). My Grandmother is the one who is Greek and my mother use to bring me to a huge greek festival every year where we got to enjoy AWESOME Greek food! My mom use to always make greek food at home too but over the years she makes it less and less because often its time consuming.
A few years ago I found out we have a small little greek restaurant just over the river from where I live and I FLIPPED! So of course I had to visit! Iv been going here for a little over a year now!
Elaini’s Greek Cuisine, Take Out and Catering was established in January 2007. They offer authentic Greek Cuisine made fresh on site from recipes that have been handed down through the generations.
They also serve breakfast too!
Elaini’s also caters. They specialize in small weddings, rehearsal dinners, business meeting and family functions.
The Menu is full of GREAT authentic greek cuisine such as Souvlaki, Dolmades, Spanakopita, Greek Burgers, Baklava and more!

The Chicken Wrap is grilled chicken with grilled and topped with tomato, cucumber, onion, feta cheese and tzatziki sauce.
Spanakopita
Stella’s Greek Salad- cucumber, tomato, onion, feta cheese and kalamata olives topped with a house dressing;
and Baklava

The Owner is INCREDIBLY Nice! She is always just so welcoming and kind. The dining area is small but super cosy and really makes the whole experience enjoyable. Every time I have visited the restaurant is so clean.
The FOOD is AMAZING!! Reminds me of when I was a child!
All the food is made fresh!
The Wrap is full of fresh veggies and the tzatziki sauce is fantastic tasting! Some of the best I’ve ever had! The Greek Salad is made fresh to order and is also full of fresh veggies and has a crisp taste to it. The House dressing is a perfect blend and not overpowering. The Spanakopita is also FANTASTIC!!
The Baklava is also fantastic! Its a perfect blend of nuts, syrup and filo!
She also makes Kourabiedes that remind me EXACTLY like my mother makes them!
Final Thoughts:
Elaini’s Greek Cuisine is affordable with amazing food! The owners hospitality makes eating there so enjoyable and its almost like you feel like your eating with family because of the intimate dining area.
I can not express how much I love Elaini’s Greek Cuisine, eating there brings me back to my childhood!
