French Onion Soup with Mushrooms Recipe

What you need:

3 large sweet onions-sliced

1 package of mushrooms, sliced

2 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons of sugar

1/3-1/2 cup(depending on personal taste) of Worcestershire sauce(Yes I know this sounds like a lot but trust me!)

2 32 oz containers of beef stock

1/2 cup of water

dash on red wine vinegar

Salt and Pepper

sliced mozzarella cheese

garlic bread

1) In sauce pan, sautee onions in butter, sprinkle  with sugar and salt, cook 13-15 minutes or until onion is caramelized. Add sliced mushrooms in about 5 minutes before onions are done.

2) Add stock, Worcestershire sauce, water, and vinegar. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

3) Toast bread on baking sheet, once soup is done, ladle into bowls, top with cheese and broil in oven. Top with garlic bread and serve.
