Keep The Kiddos Occupied With WizKids Game Crate

Stephs Cheers and Jeers was provided a WizKids Game Crate in return for inclusion on our blog.

I know many of us are getting stir crazy with these COVID guidelines and with our kids being out of school earlier we are looking for ways to keep them occupied. LootCrate has teamed up with WizKids to bring you WizKids Game Crate which is a wonderful way to upgrade family game night.

About:

Wizkids Game Crate is a bimonthly mystery box that contains 3 Wizkids tabletop games(A $60 value). The crate can include card games, mini-games, strategy games, and more. This kids-friendly crate is a great way to keep the kiddos occupied this summer, especially during COVID.

I received a shipment from Wizkids Game Crate recently. I was so excited for them to arrive so I could play them with my Step Kids.

Yummy World, Palm Frees, Spy Tricks and Coraline Wizkids Game Crate

The Crate I received actually contained 4 games:

  • Coraline Beware The Other Mother: This is a card-based game where players work together to free Coraline from the Other World.
  • Palm Trees is a card-based game where players grow a tree in their hands.
  • Spy Tricks is a card-based game where players uncover the information hidden away in top-secret documents.
  • Yummy World Party at Picnic Palance is a card-based game where players collect sets of the same character to score big points.

Subscription Prices:

1 crate is $24.99($19.99+S&H) or you can pay for 6 crates at $149.94 and receive a free gift.

Thoughts:

I was really happy with WizKids Crate. My stepdaughter really liked Palm Trees and Yummy World. I am a bit of a novice when it comes to tabletop games. So I had a hard time understanding how to play Spy Tricks and Coraline but I have a friend who plays tabletop games regularly and I’m going to have him walk me through them.
