Liane Fried Studio started after the owner spent some time as a world traveler and professional illustrator. In 1990 she moved in upstate New York and was frustrated with not being able to find a job. she became bored and started messing around with polymer clay and making whimsical animals and divas. She was encouraged to start selling some of her work and her full time job was born. She currently resides in NYC and after years of making and selling jewelry she is back to creating and selling cute and whimsical illustrations.
I was recently sent one her adorable mugs to review.
One side of the mug says “Life is just one table scrape after another” and the other side says “there is no snooze button on a dog who wants breakfast”. The Mug is a 15oz ceramic mug that is dishwasher and microwave safe. The mug even contains the artists signature on the bottom which is a nice personal touch. I found this to be the perfect hot cocoa/coffee mug as it really keeps the coffee warm since its high quality ceramic.

I think the must is ABSOLUTELY adorable, the picture I posted does NOT do it justice, the colors really pop on the mug and I have washed it numerous times without the color fading. As someone who has a dog that starts barking at 6:30 for his breakfast this mug is PERFECT.
