Mountain House Food Storage Review!

Stephs Cheers and Jeers was provided the samples mentioned in this post in return for an unbiased review.

Mountain House Food Storage has been in business for over 50 years! Their food as a 25 year shelf life, is made in the USA and is the gold standard in food storage!
I was given the opportunity to try their new low sodium collection.

I was sent three flavors, New Orleans Style Rice with Shrimp and Ham, Chicken Alfredo and Chicken and White Bean Chili.

My favorite out of the three was the New Orleans Style Rice with Shrimp and Ham.

Ingredients:
Precooked Enriched Rice (enriched with niacin, iron [ferric orthophosphate], thiamine [thiamine mononitrate], folic acid), Tomatoes (tomatoes, tomato juice, citric acid, calcium chloride), Shrimp (shrimp, salt) Green Bell Peppers, Ham (cured with water, salt, dextrose, sodium tripolyphosphate, sodium erythorbate, smoke flavor, and sodium nitrite), Onions, Celery, Black Beans (beans, salt), Seasoning (salt, dehydrated onion, dehydrated bell pepper, spices, dextrose, paprika, maltodextrin, hydrolyzed corn protein, soy sauce [wheat, soybeans, salt], dehydrated garlic, yeast extract, caramel color, soybean oil, natural flavor, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate, extractive of paprika and no more than 2% silicon dioxide to prevent caking). Corn oil, Modified Corn Starch. CONTAINS: Shrimp, Soy, Wheat. –
Review:
The New Orleans Style Rice has the most flavor out of all the pouches I was sent.
It was spicy but spicy in a good way.
The pouches are very easy to cook, you just boil water and add the water, close the pouch and let it sit.
How easy is that?
I personally didnt like the other two flavors, they were very dull tasting.
