Uber Appliance offers an array of modern home appliances such as portable mini-fridges, air fryers, ice cream makers, tea kettles and more. I have been in the market for a mini-fridge for a while and I decided to choose the Uber Chill XL.
The Uber Chill XL is a portable personal mini-fridge and beverage cooler. One unique feature is the Uber Chill XL also can act as a warmer which allows the unit to warm items placed inside to 70 degrees F. The unit does not employ any chemicals or refrigerants to achieve cooling/warming also.
The 9-liter interior can accommodate up to a 12 pack of standard soft drinks or a 6 pack of 50 mL water bottles.
The unit weighs in at 9lbs and only takes up 14 inches of space which makes it perfect for dorm rooms, RVs, cars, boats and etc. The unit also comes with both a standard 100V wall plug and a 12V DC plug so you can easily use the unit at home but also bring it with you while tailgating for the big game!
Thoughts:
I was a little skeptical at first because the unit is unlike a standard fridge, meaning it uses a thermoelectric cooling system instead of liquid refrigerants or nosey motors but I was very surprised at how well the cooling option works.
The unit is placed on my kitchen counter and I use it to keep soda, beer and other beverages cold. I also keep some of my cosmetics in it such as face masks which feel so much better when cooled. I am very impressed by the Uber Chill XL and can’t wait to use it more this summer when on the road!
