I grew up in New Hampshire and when I moved to Vermont I found maple soda to be a very popular beverage, my husband was so shocked that I never heard of it and the first time I tried it I HOOKED! I recently had the chance to taste test some maple soda and seltzer from Sap! Maple and I am totally obsessed with their products now!
Sap! Maple was started by an eighth generation Vermont family, their family has been in the maple business for many years and they currently own a sugarbush with 12,000 tapped Maple trees. Their products are non-alcoholic beverages made from 100% pure maple sap, I have found after I started dating my husband that maple soda and other maple drinks are sort of a tradition in Vermont, especially if you are involved in the saping business. Maple sap features electrolytes, antioxidants, manganese, and over 40 other vitamins and minerals which are very refreshing and hydrating!
I had the chance to taste test both their maple soda and maple seltzer.
The maple soda is just 90 calories with 16g of sugar while the maple seltzer is only 50 calories with 9g of sugar, both products are organic, non-GMO, kosher, gluten free, and flavorful! I love drinking them right out of the can or in cocktails!(I love mixing the seltzer with Whiskey!)
