Adult Coloring Books are a big craze this year! I actually have a few people on my Christmas buy list that have asked for Adult Coloring Books so I began a hunt to find some of the very best ones!
Tangled Gardens Coloring Book by Jane Monk contains 52 original designs from artist Jane Monk. The book features images straight out of a garden with images of flowers, bugs, trees and more. Unlike other coloring books I have came across this one actually has a section that speaks about color schemes and techniques.

This book contains some BEAUTIFUL designs and the sections dedicated to color schemes and techniques is very detailed and contained tons of information I didn’t know but that is very helpful. This is actually one of the best coloring books I have came across so far!

Jane Monk lives in Tasmania, Australia. She is a self-taught artist who has been drawing since she was a young girl, inspired by the beauty in all things in the natural and man-made worlds. Patterns and repetition, and the sometimes quirky and different, are what inspire her work.
An award-winning machine quilter, Jane quilts professionally for others through her business, Jane Monk Studio. In 2010 Jane became a certified Zentangle teacher and combines her love of Zentangle and quilting by bringing these two complementary mediums together. She has designed quilt patterns for publication in quilting magazines and produced a DVD showcasing the basics of Zentangle and quilting.
