Reusable Food Containers from Goodbyn

Stephs Cheers and Jeers was provided the samples mentioned in this post in return for an unbiased review.

School is back in session which means it’s the perfect time to explore the different options of food containers. I also prep lunches for my husband, stepdaughter, and her boyfriend for work so I’ve been looking for great food container options. Goodbyn recently reached out to me and sent me some of their reusable food containers to check out.

Goodbyn was founded in 2009 by designers/parents who were sick of the idea of waste that was created when packing lunches. They wanted to create something that minimizes waste and also make life simple. Since their first sale they have sold over 1 million products and by their estimation they have kept hundreds of millions of items out of landfills.

They have many different sized and color food containers to choose from as well as lunch bags, ice packs, bottles, and more. Their products are top rack dishwasher safe which allows for easy clean up, are made from FDA approved ingredients, BPA- and phthalate free and 100% Recyclable.

They sent me their Bynto and Hero reusable on-the-go food containers

The Bynto food container features three compartments, the middle container is perfect for fitting one of the Goodbyn Bottles that are sold separately.

The dimensions are 6.25″ wide, 10.25″ high, 2.5 depth and while they are not leak proof I still put soup in them and just make sure I keep it upright at all times.

The Bynto sells for $9.00 each and comes in blue, green, pink, purple and red. You can also buy a four pack of them for $28.00.

The Hero features three compartments plus two dippers. I personally love this one because it’s perfect for sandwiches especially tuna fish because I use the two dippers for condiments. The  Dimensions are 10.72 in x 6.83 in x 2.74 in / 27.23 cm x 17.35 cm x 6.96 cm, Medium dipper: 2.69 x 2.69 x 1.38 in / 6.83 x 6.83 x 3.5 cm, Large dipper: 3.06 x 3.06 x 1.8 in / 7.78 x 7.78 x 4.57 cm,Volumes: top: 4.8 c / 38 fl oz. / 1,1L; bottom (each): 1.1 c / 8.8 fl oz. / 262 ml, Medium dipper: 0.33 cups / 77 ml / 2.6 fl oz, Large dipper: 0.75 cups / 177 ml / 6 fl oz.

The Hero sells for $13.00 and comes in blue, green, pink, purple and red.
