A few months ago I did a review of Newman’s Own Organics food items and shortly after I finished the review they were kind enough to send me samples of their pet food.
Newman’s Own started in 1982 when Paul Newman gave friends and family is homemade salad dressing as gifts. Since then Paul Newman and Newman’s Own Foundation has given over $450 million to thousands of charities and they now produce over 200 individual products across 20 categories! I was recently sent some of their pet food items for Fuzzy Bear and Loki to try out.
I was sent:
- Adult Cat Formula
- Adult Dog Formula
- Chicken & Sweet Potato Snack Sticks for Dogs
- Canned Cat and Dog Food
My cat is the picky one so I was really worried she wasn’t going to even try the food but she seemed to really like the dry food however I could not get her to try the wet food, so I gave it away to a friend who has cats and they loved it. Loki gobbled up the dry food as well but didn’t seem to like the wet food(He seems to only like chunks), he would eat a few bites and then not go back to it. Neither foods caused either of my pets any distress and I love Newman’s Own and I was a little sad that my pets didn’t take to the wet food. My dog really loved the Chicken & Sweet Potato Sticks and they are great for rewarding him for good behavior or just a snack to occupy him.
