I have been a huge Dungeons and Dragons fan for a long time, I have played the tabletop game a few times. I have also played several video games based around it including Neverwinter so I was really excited when I saw the trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

Synopsis:

Thoughts:

Having played several Dungeons and Dragons based video games, it was really neat to see things I am familiar with such as the owlbear and gelatinous cube. I found the movie to be really engaging, I don’t usually watch long movies(run time is 2h 14m) but I found this movie so interesting. There are times I was on the edge of my seat, other times that I laughed, and even times that I almost cried. I can easily understand why this is being called the movie of the year.

Fun Fact: My favorite character is Doric.
