Holiday Gift Guide: Sun Basket

Stephs Cheers and Jeers was provided the samples mentioned in this post in return for an unbiased review.

Sun Basket makes healthy cooking at home easy by delivering organic and sustainable ingredients to your doorstep. Their delicious menu features recipes for all diets including Paleo, Lean & Clean, Gluten Free, and Vegetarian. They also offer a family option which features kid-friendly recipes that the whole family will love!

The menu I received featured two recipes, the first was Hawaiian Steak Stir Fry With Broccoli and Pineapple and the second was Thai Turkey Lettuce Cups with Rice Noodles.

All of the ingredients come pre-measured and placed in a paper bag with the recipe name on the bag. This is great because it cuts prep time and allows me to save time which is great for the days where my chronic pain is bad.

The ingredients were super fresh and I love that they are organic and that their meat is responsibly sourced and free of antibiotics and added hormones.

The stir-fry was a gigantic hit with my family! It was super easy to make and I have actually made this several times since trying Sun Basket.

I have also made the lettuce cups multiple times since trying Sun Basket. They are super refreshing and actually pretty filling. After trying Sun Basket I have also made a few different versions of this recipe.

I was very impressed with Sun Basket, the recipes were tasty and super easy to make. I think it’s a great way to discover new recipes but also great for people who are busy and don’t have time to shop and prep ingredients.

Their pricing is the following: for $11.99 per serving, you will receive 3 recipes a week from the classic menu or for $9.99 per serving you can select to receive 2, 3 or 4 recipes a week from the family menu.
